The LNP has pledged to help drive greater productivity and profitability in Queensland's sugar industry with a $4.6 million research package – as part of its positive plan to grow a four-pillar economy and double agricultural production by 2040.
In Mackay, LNP Leader Campbell Newman today said the $4.6 million package over four years would be targeted at research and development.
