LNP Launches Policy Magazine

The Liberal National Party has launched a new E-magazine, Dialogue.

An initiative of the LNP's Policy Standing Committee, Dialogue is an online publication designed to further enhance the discussion and development of policy ideas within the LNP.

The state election has been resolved and history has been made with the emphatic election of the first Liberal National Party government of Queensland under new Premier Campbell Newman.

While there is much work to be done in getting Queensland back on track, the party now also turns its focus to finalising preparations for the next federal election and ensuring the election of an Abbott-Truss Government in Canberra.

The Liberal National Party has endorsed Mr Clem Grehan to contest the South Brisbane by-election.

The by-election is necessary as a result of former premier Anna Bligh's decision to quit State Parliament after Labor's defeat at last weekend's general election.

Labor up to their old dirty tricks

Published in Leader of the LNP Written by Tim Nicholls

Labor has been caught red-handed distributing unauthorised how-to-vote cards in Mount Coot-tha today, LNP Campaign Spokesman Tim Nicholls said today.

Following a complaint lodged by the LNP, the ALP has been forced to withdraw the how-to-votes which were authorised by Greg Moran, a close friend of Anna Bligh.

This Saturday is all about Queensland. It's all about you, the people who work hard every day to raise their families, to support their communities, to run their businesses and and to grow our economy. This election is about your future, your families future and Queensland's future. It's about putting 20 wasted years of a tired Labor government behind us and moving on with real action. I am so very proud to say that we are ready. Now more than ever, the LNP is a strong and united team that has the policies, the commitment and the determination to get this State back on track. I say our best years, Queensland's best years, are ahead of us. That's why it's time for a change. This Saturday I'm asking for you to support me and your local LNP candidate so that we can get Queensland back on track. Join us.

An LNP Government will cut waste and make savings to deliver more jobs, lower the cost of living, revitalise front line services and deliver better infrastructure and planning.

Shadow Treasurer Tim Nicholls today unveiled the LNP's 'Costing and Savings Strategy' which details how the LNP would pay for its election commitments and reveals an LNP Government would return a forecast budget surplus of $524 million in 2014-15.

The State Opposition has slammed Anna Bligh and Labor MP Grace Grace for backflipping on their own decision today by announcing a ridiculous plan to wind-back the 3am lock-out in Fortitude Valley in a desparate, unashamed bid for votes on the eve of an election.

LNP Shadow Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie said Ms Grace must be in real trouble if Ms Bligh is backflipping on something which her own Cabinet rejected just a few months ago.
